School Information

Head instructor, Matt Gomez, opened his school in 2005 in Laconia, NH. Matt is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and certified under Julio "Foca" Fernandez. Mr. Fernandez is a six degree black belt under Carlson Gracie, Sr. Mr. Fernandez has honored Matt with the opportunity to teach the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the Laconia NH area, under the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu United States Association (BJJUSA).

NH Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Self Defense Center offers outstanding programs dedicated to quality and professionalism. We offer traditional, legitimate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction in a friendly positive environment. All are welcome. We offer programs for men, women and children, as well as seminars and private lessons. Specialized curriculum for police and military training also available.
